We are thrilled to be partnering with an outstanding SEN school in South West London, renowned for its holistic and therapeutic approach to education. The school is on the lookout for a dedicated Behaviour Learning Mentor to join their supportive team. In this role, you'll work with students facing SEMH challenges, Autism/ASC/ASD, and other associated learning difficulties, making a real difference in their lives.

Why This Role is for You:

Role: Behaviour Learning Mentor

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Location: South West London

Environment: Specialist SEN school focused on nurturing and supporting students with SEMH, Autism/ASC/ASD, and related challenges.

Activities: Engage in creative, sensory-driven activities, incorporating music, arts, drama, and dance into the curriculum to promote student well-being.

Career Development: Ideal for those aspiring to become SEND Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Youth Workers, Child or Educational Psychologists, Counsellors, or Social Workers.

Start Date: September

Salary: £90 - £100 per day (weekly PAYE payments)

Who We're Looking For:

Graduates: Those with degrees in Psychology, Criminology, Education Studies, or Creative Arts are highly encouraged to apply.

Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people with special needs or hard-to-reach groups is a plus.

Passion: You have a strong interest in supporting young people with special needs and a positive, proactive attitude.

Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff.

Resilience: You're patient, empathetic, and committed to making a difference.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Support: Provide essential support to students with SEMH, Autism/ASC, and other learning difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning.

Engage: Assist with planning, preparing, and delivering a variety of learning activities, while actively engaging with students through play-based and sensory activities.

Wellbeing: Promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being of the pupils.

Interact: Build meaningful connections with students, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their full potential.
