Job Title: Nursery Nurse/Practitioner

Setting: Day Nursery

Location: Redbridge

Pay: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Duration: Temp to perm

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

* Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in

* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 in a nursery setting

* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences

* Monitor and record children's progress and development

* Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child

* Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery

* Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills:

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

* Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment

* Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs

* Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education

* Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors effectively

Note: Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent are preferred. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
