Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways - Peterborough - £60k/£70k

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor from a civil engineering background looking to commercially manage your own Local Authority framework?

Our client has an impressive portfolio of works providing over £1bn turnover across the UK and Ireland. They have secured an extensive amount of work in the Peterborough region, which has brought about this requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to independently oversee a £10m per annum highways framework consisting of camera installations, signal relocations and the like with individual projects ranging from £1k up to £1m each.

The role itself is standalone with the support of a Managing Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will be responsible from pricing the works to agreeing the final accounts and be the clients' main point of contact.

The role is hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home and offers a generous salary and benefits package. To be considered for this role, you will have working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts and be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
