A growing business based in Bristol is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer looking to further their career in the industry. This is a new office within a well-established consultancy that is looking to organically grow.

What you'll be doing as Senior Civil Engineer?
You'll be working on a range of domestic and commercial projects of any size. This is a great role for an Engineer who wishes to be well rounded and not pigeonholed in their career. You'll initially work closely on highway design packages, existing highways as private roads and highway drainage design. 

Duties:

Managing clients, projects, and commercials.
liaising with Local Planning Authorities.
Taking the reins on projects and progressing into leadership roles.
Helping to guide and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and experience.
Overseeing designs to ensure they meet standards, regulations, and client needs.
Managing resources, schedules, and deliverables to keep projects running smoothly.
Building strong relationships with clients and external contacts like contractors and councils.
Ensuring work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Checking and reviewing project work to maintain high quality and resolve issues early.
Supporting bids and tenders with technical input and cost estimates.
Looking for opportunities to grow the business through new projects or relationships.
What we're looking for in a Senior Civil Engineer: 

Extensive UK experience, in a senior role.
Highway design experience, dealing with Section 278 / 38.
Drainage design, dealing with Section 104.
Experience with MicroDrainage/Flow, PDS, Site 3D, AutoCAD
Previous experience managing clients and expectations.
Experience dealing with local planning authorities.
Good commercial acumen.
