Accounts Assistant, busy role in a small friendly finance team, Wellingborough, to £24,000

Due to an internal promotion, a role has arisen with this local and well established business for an Accounts Assistant. Working in a busy finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, your role as the Accounts Assistant encompasses:

• Accounts payable
• Setting up suppliers
• Payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Journals
• Chasing overdue monies
• Raising sales invoices

A varied role suited to a keen, reliable and organised candidate with a good communication skills. Previous finance experience would be advantage, but the role is also suitable for an AAT studier or Accounting and Finance Graduate looking to gain new skills.
