Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join a special educational needs school in Lichfield. As a part-time role, the successful candidate will be required to work 4 days a week from 8:30-15:30, with flexibility to be discussed during the interview process. This long-term position is to commence in Novemeber 2024 and will span the entire academic year.

The school caters to children and young people aged 2-19 with physical disabilities and complex medical needs. The school are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of delivering engaging and high-quality lessons tailored to students with special educational needs. Strong communication skills, a genuine passion for teaching, and a dedication to fostering a positive learning environment are essential qualities we are looking for.

Responsibilities for this role include lesson planning and delivery, ongoing assessment of student progress, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
