Job Title: Estimator / Senior Estimator

With a growing portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team and play a critical role in supporting the continued success of their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and contracts to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop cost-effective solutions.
Source and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.
Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost reporting to ensure financial control.
Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings, as required.

Requirements:

Ideally experience with Groundwork and Frames contractors
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in using estimating software
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Relevant qualifications in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (desirable)If this is of interest please apply below
