Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Van & Fuel Card provided)

Overview
Our client, a leading Forklift Dealer is looking for a dynamic and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to clients on-site. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that equipment is installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair equipment at client locations, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
Document all service activities accurately in reports for internal tracking and client records.
Provide training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance service delivery.Experience

Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role in a technical environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
A valid driver's license is essential for travel to various client sites.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to fieldwork is advantageous.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related field would be beneficial.Required

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in ANY mechanical maintenance
