Our privately owned and well established client are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a prestigious new development in the New Forest. This exciting project, encompassing 90 traditional houses and apartments, is scheduled for completion in September 2026 .

**About the Role:**

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this bespoke development. Your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting the Site Manager with all aspects of site management, including planning, supervision, and coordination of sub-contractors.
* Ensuring the project adheres to strict quality standards, safety regulations, and program deadlines.
* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
* Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
* Communicating effectively with clients, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist with the management of sub-contractors, including scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with contracts.
* Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
* Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials used throughout the development.
* Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the project specifications, drawings, and schedules.
* Identify and resolve potential risks and challenges on the site.
* Contribute to the overall success of the project by maintaining a proactive and collaborative approach.

**About You:**

* Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager, ideally within a residential construction environment.
* Strong understanding of building regulations and health & safety requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors and team members.
* A proactive and results-driven approach with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* A valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid, NVQ Level 4)
