Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a dynamic and progressive Accountancy Practice in Lincoln, serving the UK's top creative entrepreneurs and small businesses. As they expand, they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing Lincoln team. The Role of the Accounts Assistant
With the assistance and supervision of a client manager you will have responsibility for, and ownership of, the following tasks and processes:
- Assisting client manager in servicing a portfolio of clients
- Reviewing and undertaking record keeping
- Preparing management accounts
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Processing payroll
- Managing correspondence
- Maintaining databases
The ideal candidate for the role of Accounts Assistant
- Minimum of one year’s work experience in an Accountancy Practice
- A desire to learn every day with a positive attitude
- Possesses an aptitude for time and deadline management
- Experience of using Xero would be preferable, but not essential
