Contract: 3 - 6 months

Full time: Mon - Fri - 36/hrs a week

hatched Recruiotment is looking for a Workforce & Practice Development Assistant in the Hackney area.

The Workforce and Practice Development Assistant will provide high quality administrative support related to the staff and foster carer training programmes within Hackney Children & Families Service (CFS). This includes responsibility for managing the CFS Training inbox and day to day training coordination tasks. You will work closely with the training officer and the ASYE coordinator in providing administrative support to ensure training programmes are run effectively. You will prepare a monthly newsletter advertising training and support the organisation and delivery of events and initiatives that facilitate staff development, such as celebrating social work week and coordinating practice days. You will collate data as requested to be shared with the WFPD Lead and Officer. In addition you will oversee the finance processes related to the hub.

This is a temporary full time position based within the Workforce & Practice Development Hub which leads on developing and implementing the training and practice development work within CFS. It is an exciting time to join Hackney as we implement a practice model based on systemic, trauma informed and anti-racist practice (STAR).

We are looking for a highly organised individual who is committed to working effectively to bring about positive change for our staff within CFS.

The successful candidate will have:

Strong organisational skills with strong attention to detail

The ability to work autonomously

The ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups at different levels of the service and within partner organisations, being able to prepare quality written materials or reports
