I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who work heavily across the UK delivering schemes within the energy sector. My client is looking to onboard a general foreman to help deliver a new renewable energy project being delivered in Cornwall.

General foreman responsibilities:

* Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.

* Managing plant, labour and materials.

* Detailed record keeping.

* Allocation sheets.

* Managing health and safety.

* Putting labour to work.

* Task briefings.

* Liaising with the client and subcontractors on site.

* Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to RAMS and program.

General foreman requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* CSCS card - Gold/ Black or white.

* SMSTS.

* First aid.

* Lifting ops.

* NSI 6&8 Competent persons.

* Previous experience within a general foreman position.

* Previous experience working on a substation, solar farm or wind farm.

* Full UK driving licence.
