We are recruiting a UK Logistics Co-Ordinator who will be responsible for supporting the Logistic Management team with day to day activities to ensure smooth flow of logistics and storage routines with GDP compliance.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Complete customs formalities for movement of goods
- Creating CMR's as required
- Liaise with UK 3PL partner - on bookings, fulfilment, inventory controls and customers complaints
- Monitor storage capacity and highlight any potential risks or likely increased costs
- Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, customers, and government entities on logistics activity
- Ensure correct documentation is in place before movement of goods. Including, CMR's and Licences.
- Support administration of vehicles and drivers in-line with transport operator's licence
- Organise transport for collection of CMO products from suppliers within the EU and UK
- Manage inbound and outbound customs formalities
- transport trackers
- documents related to managed shipments
- Support supply chain leadership team in delivering financial and operations goals around transport costs
Skills/Experience
- To be literate and numerate to GCSE educational standard
- You will ideally have experience of working within a warehouse industry, ideally in Pharmaceutical or a similar highly regulated environment
- Experience of maintaining and managing effective stock control systems and processes
- Experience and understanding of GDP
- Understanding of import/export formalities
- Good IT experience - systems and excel

The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics or supply chain management, excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and clients, and proficiency in using logistics software to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Familiarity with UK transport regulations and a problem-solving mindset are also essential.

Working hours information
- Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, 37.5hrs per week. This is an onsite role based at our Brentwood Site. Please be aware that this is a Fixed Term Contract (16 months)
