Job Title: Assistant Area Head - Engineering and Electrical Renewables
?Colchester Institute is seeking a passionate eco-conscious educational advocateto lead and support the development and delivery of a diverse, high-quality curriculum that blends both classroom learning and hands-on experience in a range of areas, including Engineering, Welding and Fabrication, Manufacturing, and Renewable Technologies (Electrical).
About the Role:
In this role, in addition to leading a small team of Engineering lecturers, you will have the chance to design and deliver electrical renewables courses, with a primary focus on commercial, full-cost projects, from our state-of-the-art Net Zero Centre.
The Centre features six fully functioning electrical renewables bays, covering Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV charging, as well as six heat pump bays, including solar thermal and dual fuel.
