Their focus is on combining vocational and academic pathways to support young people in gaining the skills needed for apprenticeships, employment, or further education.Role Overview:As an ESOL Tutor, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students aged 14-19, particularly those with complex needs and behaviours. You will play a key role in behaviour management and ensure excellent outcomes for students.Key Responsibilities:
• Teach ESOL students from pre-entry level to Level 2
• Create an inclusive and inspirational learning environment
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements
• Support student progression and engage with parents
• Maintain discipline and foster a supportive atmosphere in the classroom
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality educationEssential Qualifications and Experience:
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and safeguarding practices
• Experience in teaching young people with complex needs
• Strong communication and classroom management skillsDesirable:
• Degree in a related subject
