My client is a well-established manufacturer of electrical power distribution equipment is seeking a Materials Handler to join their operations team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Loading and unloading various types of distribution and power transformers using overhead cranes.

* Transporting and processing materials across two sites using forklifts and company vehicles.

* Operating general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the role.

* Conducting quality inspections of colleagues' work.

* Ensuring smooth operations by delivering materials in a timely manner.

* Maintaining cleanliness and promptly reporting any issues, shortages, or equipment breakdowns.

* Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Applicants should have:

* Experience in a manufacturing environment (essential).

* A Counter Balance FLT license (up to 7 tonnes) (essential).

* A full driving license (essential).

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Flexibility in working hours and tasks is also required.
