Portfolio Payroll are working with a well-established growing business based in Carlisle CA3 8PN. Our client is looking for a candidate who is willing to learn and develop and no Payroll experience is required however, Microsoft Excel experience essential.

Reporting into the head of Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Technical skills including systems & excel
Must have very strong Excel skills as lots of manual processing
High volume, fast paced
Working as part of the People team
Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Pension Contributions.
Updating policy with regards to Payroll
General administrative duties
Payroll systems experience ideally
