Right Now Group are working with a Global Freight Forwarder based at LHR, who are looking to expand their Imports Team by bringing on board a Junior Air Import Clerk. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this individual will be expected to facilitate the movement of Freight into the country and manage the necessary documentation and forms for the most efficient and cost-effective execution.

Responsibilities of an Air Import Junior:

• Learn how to manage Air Import Consignments from start to finish
• Communicating with customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories
• Liaising with the distribution and warehouse teams to ensure the movement of freight is swift and effective
• Ensure compliance is followed as per the CAA and customs regulations

Experience Required for an Air Import Junior:

• Experience in Freight is preferable
• A keen working attitude
• Attention to detail
• IT Literate
• Problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work under pressure

Shift: 4 ON 4 OFF (6pm-6am)
Salary - £25,000 - £30,000
Location: Feltham/LHR
