Working with a team of knowledgeable and friendly people, this Accounts Administrator position is an integral role that is in place to support the wider finance and accounts team and assist with all sales and purchase ledger responsibilities. Which makes it the perfect position for an existing Accounts / Finance Administrator or Accounts / Finance Administrator who is looking to take on a new challenge and has a history of creating reports.

  • Work hours: Monday to Thursday: 9 am to 5:30pm, Friday: 9am to 5pm
  • Salary: £25,500 rising to £26,000 after probation
  • Monthly Bonus: Between £50.00 and £650.00, depending on company performance

Accounts Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Handle all day-to-day administration tasks for the finance function
  • Undertake purchase ledger activity which includes raising purchase orders, matching invoices, and reconciling statements
  • Undertake sales ledger activity which includes raising invoices and obtaining approval, and reconciling sales ledger accounts
  • Record all customer interactions and ensure all data is accurate
  • Update the CRM and various finance systems with accurate financial data
  • Produce finance reports for the Finance Team Supervisor to be used by the wider business and senior team
  • Effectively communicate with the wider business regarding general finance matters
  • Support the Finance Team Supervisor with ad-hoc finance duties

Accounts Administrator Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience gained as a Finance / Accounts Administrator or Finance / Accounts Assistant
  • All-round accounts experience with good knowledge of purchase and sales ledger
  • Excellent organisation skills, able to meet daily and monthly deadlines
  • Strong IT skills, with particular experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Positive, can-do attitude with an adaptable approach to work
  • A team player who also works under own initiative
