On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking for an experienced to teach Year 4 class in a school in a diverse community in Reddish, Stockport. This Year 4 teaching position will commence October 2024 with the possibility of permanency and will pay an attractive salary of up to £223 per day which reflects your skill-set and stage of your career. About the Role

As the Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for an average class size of around 30 pupils with a small groups of SEND pupils with one on an EHCP.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out professional duties and have responsibility for a Year 4 class
• You will be tasked with creating exciting and engaging lessons aiming to utilise all of the schools resources looking far beyond the confines of a classroom.
• Complete appropriate teaching, marking and assessment activities so each child can achieve their potential.
• Employ differentiation and individualised learning strategies required to meet the needs of all pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives
• Be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
• Promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.
• Build and maintain strong links with children, parents and staff to support best outcomes for children

• Hold QTS Certification
• Have experience teaching in a KS2 setting (Year 4 desireable)
• Be able to provide an up-to-date CV covering 10 years of previous employment history with no gaps
