We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our well-established SME, based in Bradford.

Providing a service to multiple sectors including - Food and Beverage, Commercial, Retail, Education, Healthcare and Ecclesiastical, they offer construction, build and M&E services. Refrigeration and cooling automation services and custom automation / robotic systems to match any customer requirement.

What's in it for you:

* Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

* Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2.30pm

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, responsible for crafting and refining mechanical components, equipment, and systems across a range of diverse projects. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the seamless integration of mechanical systems and provide invaluable technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

About You:

* Solid experience in designing and developing bespoke or automation machinery.

* Passionate about Mechanical Engineering.

* Proficiency in SolidWorks

* Familiarity with mechanical testing and measurement methods.

* Able to work both independently and within a team.
