We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Financial Accounting Manager to join this high-performing team on a permanent basis. This role will be pivotal in driving the organisation’s financial accounting and statutory audit processes, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards. Your work will directly contribute to the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of our organisation, supporting their mission and values.
They key duties of this Financial Accounting Manager are as follows:
- Lead the development and maintenance of international financial accounting policies and procedures that comply with UK standards, as well as relevant regulations in other countries.
- Provide financial expertise and support to overseas teams, helping to drive a culture of best practices and professional skills in financial accounting.
- Oversee the preparation and review of the annual statutory reports and financial statements, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and pass all audit requirements.
- Lead the planning and execution of the annual statutory audits, working closely with the auditors to ensure a smooth and effective process.
- Support country-level statutory audits to ensure compliance with local accounting laws.
- Manage quarterly balance sheet reviews and create action plans to address any issues.
- Lead and inspire a team of financial professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

The successful candidate will have.
- A full UK accounting qualification.
- Extensive experience in financial accounting and audit management, either in industry or practice.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to guide and inspire a team.
- Experience within the charity or non-profit sector (desirable)
- Skilled in statutory financial reporting, data analysis, and balance sheet reviews.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
