PE Teacher - Cheshire East

Dedicated and passionate PE Teachers are required to work across popular secondary schools in Cheshire East. They are seeking Teachers to join them on a full-time basis, teaching key stage 3 & 4 from September 2024, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis.

This positions are up to five days a week, full time, and are open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.

You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. This school teach GCSE and have a key focus on build knowledge throughout KS3 and KS4. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way, in tandem with AfL.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree educated with a good classificationSecondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc)Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80.Provide a minimum of two professional references.
