About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead on managing large-scale, complex projects with national and international impact? Join our PMO team as a Senior Project Manager (SPM), where you'll be the driving force behind delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping project success and building relationships with stakeholders across engineering, finance, and leadership teams.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Acting as the primary point of contact for large, high-impact projects, including internally funded development initiatives.

Developing and managing essential project management artefacts such as Master Schedules, Project Management Plans, and Responsibility Assignment Matrices.

Collaborating with engineering and departmental leads to ensure resources are optimized and technical success factors are met.

Overseeing project execution to achieve critical milestones, such as design reviews, testing, and training.

Analyzing project costs and working closely with Finance to prepare accurate monthly reports for senior leadership.

Ensuring compliance with production, data management, invoicing, shipping, and export controls.

Capturing lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and development across the organization.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

A recognized project management qualification.

5-10 years' experience in a project management role, with full lifecycle knowledge.

A background in engineering development, ideally within defense or aerospace industries.

The ability to travel as required, with a valid driving license and passport.

Experience in managing international stakeholders.

Strong leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Analytical thinking with the ability to develop strategies and organize tasks effectively.

Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
