Job Title: Estimator

Location: Cradley Heath

Pay Rates: £28,000 - £35,000 Dependent on experience

Shift Patterns: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 16:30

As an estimator, you'll be at the forefront of the company's operations, playing a key role in the bidding process. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that require innovative thinking and precision. This role will challenge your analytical skills and allow you to develop expertise in cost estimation, material selection, and project management.

Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates for new contracts by calculating the manufacturing costs.
Adhere to company standards and guidelines when analysing and providing estimations; focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction, while minimising any potential risks to the company.
Prepare detailed, well-written proposals for each client.
Manage multiple projects at any one time, ensuring each reaches the client by their deadline.
Liaising with customers and suppliers.
Undertake general office duties, answer the telephone, filing and attending meetings as required.

Qualification/experience:

Time served as an Estimator within the Sheet Metal industry.
Understanding drawings.
Good communication skills.
Understanding machine capabilities.
