For nearly 30 years, they've served a diverse client base, including Legal and Professional sectors, Healthcare, Government Departments, Local Authorities, Corporate, SME, and individuals. Their retail and general small business arm, offers general IT solutions and support for small businesses, including specifying, supplying, implementing, and supporting individual and multi-user environments both on-premise and for hybrid users.

Are you the right person for the job?

Strong knowledge of server and operating systems
Practical knowledge of Active Directory and AD Online, Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online, MS for Business Products, Azure Virtual Machine, SharePoint, and Google for Business Apps
Proficiency in software configurations, security protocols, and best practices
Web knowledge (DMS), domains, and virtual environments (VDI, VM, RDP, some Citrix knowledge would be useful but not essential)
Dynamic and driven with a strong initiative
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage appointments efficiently
What will your role look like?

As an IT Support Consultant/Engineer, you'll play a critical role in supporting clients and optimising their internal IT infrastructure. This hybrid role allows you to work remotely with occasional visits to the Crowborough office.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert input and support for server and operating systems, Active Directory and AD Online, Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online, MS for Business Products, SharePoint, and Google for Business Apps, (knowledge of Azure Virtual Machine would be useful)
Configure software, security protocols, and best practices
Work with web technologies (DMS), domains, and virtual environments (VDI, VM, RDP, some knowledge of Citrix would be useful)
Work closely with clients' IT teams or as part of our internal IT setup and optimisation
Deliver advice and assistance, needs assessments, procurement, installation and technical support
