The Waste Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the waste operations, leading the on-site team and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and legislation.

In your first few weeks in this Waste Manager role, you can expect to:

• Manage the Solihull Waste Team to effectively deliver the operational requirements of the Waste contract
• Maintain legal compliance with Health and Safety legislation, ensuring that all operations are undertaken in a safe manner, with a specific focus on the use and availability of risk assessments and method statements
• Ensure & maintain legal compliance with all applicable waste legislation
• Ensure compliance with the Company's waste management procedures
• Recommend and drive positive change and improvements in processes

• Experience working within the waste industry and managing complex "Waste Streams" out of a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Understanding of waste legislation and compliance
• An IOSH or equivalent qualification
• Experience of SAP systems
