Essential Role Requirements
* 2+ years of practice experience.
* Working towards an accounting qualification, AAT, ACA or ACCA.
* Experience with Xero, Xero Payroll, TaxCalc, and Karbon is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
* A solid understanding of accounting principles, up-to-date accounting standards, and relevant tax regulations is essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
* Assisting in the preparation of draft Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax returns
* Managing the preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Addressing client questions related to bookkeeping, VAT, and confirmation statements
* Providing support to trainees with bookkeeping-related inquiries
* Ability to establish a warm, approachable relationship with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service
