We are looking for an engaging and welcoming Lobby Host/Hostess (Casual) to join our team here at Claridge’s.
Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridge’s is an Art Deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Since the 1850s, Claridge’s has excelled at the finer things in life: glamorous design, inspiring dining, and impeccable service. There are many 5-star hotels in London but nowhere quite like Claridge’s. The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long-standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as “annexe to Buckingham Palace”. Claridge’s has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the ‘Foyer & Reading Room’, L’Epicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridge’s Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painter’s Room.
As Lobby Host/Hostess, you will:
- Provide a courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintain the levels of service to the highest standards at all times.
- Be responsible for welcoming and escorting guests in a warm friendly manner and be a true ambassador for excellent service.
- Be responsible for our guests’ journey once they step through the doors of our hotel.
As Lobby Host/Hostess, you must:
- Be passionate, motivated, welcoming and highly organised to ensure that all requests are attended to without any delays.
- Be well presented, have excellent communication skills and a pleasant conversational skills.
- Work well under pressure with excellent ability to co-ordinate efficiently with other departments and bring good administration skills.
