A well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role lasting until the end of the academic year, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with students to support positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Implement tailored behaviour strategies and interventions
Build strong relationships with students, boosting confidence and resilience
Support teaching staff in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring for students who require additional support
Liaise with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure student progress

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in an educational, mentoring, or support role
A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively and positively
