We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Clitheroe, working with a Year 6 class. This part-time, afternoon-only position offers an excellent opportunity to support students in a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Year 6 teacher in creating a supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students succeed in their learning goals.
- Contribute to classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all students.
- Follow the class teacher’s instructions to support students’ educational and social development.
Essential Requirements: - Right to Work in the UK
- Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Teaching Assistant or Childcare Qualification
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting, ideally with primary school students
