Assistant Maintenance Engineer

Coyle Personnel, one of the UK's leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Engineer to work within a Hospital environment in Dartford

This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a team committed to delivering Hard Services Facilities Maintenance within an NHS Estate environment.

Role Summary:

As an Assistant Maintenance Engineer, your main role will be to support the engineering team within wards, communal areas, offices, break out areas and washrooms carrying out general building maintenance tasks. This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out general repair and maintenance tasks within the hospital.

* Supporting the wider engineering team with HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing tasks as required

* Ensure risk assessments are available and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others' safety.

Requirements:

* An understanding of building maintenance

* Working towards qualifying as an engineer (mechanical / plumbing / electrical)

* Previous experience within a hospital environment beneficial

* DBS Standard check required
