This school provides high-quality education to children and young people facing significant challenges, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), trauma, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

You will be working with children and young people who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Your role will be to support their learning, help them develop their abilities, and boost their self-esteem. This position requires resilience and dedication, but the small victories you achieve will be immensely rewarding.

As a Teacher at this school, you will receive comprehensive support from in-house psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapy professionals. You will work alongside top-notch colleagues in well-resourced school environments. The students come from diverse backgrounds and have varied needs, and the school's workforce reflects this diversity. They believe in engaging, encouraging, and inspiring their young people to be their best selves. As more than just a teacher, you will connect with the pupils and make a lasting impact.

You will be a cornerstone for the students, many of whom experience high levels of anxiety often expressed through verbal and physical aggression. As a trauma-informed practitioner, you will help them feel safe, build trusting relationships, and foster a love for learning. Some students have gaps in their education, so you must be adept at adapting lessons to ensure all can achieve.

If you are passionate about making a difference and have the resilience and dedication to support this school's students, we would love to hear from you!
