Salary: £40000 - £50000/annum + company bonus

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Controls Engineer to join an excellent Special Purpose Machinery Manufacture in the Poole Area.

With no day ever being the same the Controls Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

Design and develop control systems, including PLC programming and HMI design
Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance and efficiency
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate control solutions
Assist with commissioning, testing, and fault-finding on new and existing systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Provide technical support and documentation for customers and internal teamsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in control system design and PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
Knowledge of industrial automation, HMI, and SCADA systems
Understanding of electrical schematics and control panel design
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications in Electrical, Automation, or Control EngineeringPackage and Benefits:

£40,000 - 50,000 DOE
