We're looking for a Project Manager to join an established design and engineering team working on projects across water, power & energy and pharmaceuticals sectors amongst others on a permanent staff basis in Warrington.

What does the Project Manager job involve?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will manage multiple projects with a value range of £250K up to £15 million.
Responsible for creating detailed programmes, issuing early warnings, costing and submitting Variations, forecasting etc.
Monitor the overall commercial performance of the project, maintaining accurate cost-to-complete forecasts and raising awareness of threats in relation to excessive additional costs, delays or margin depletion.
Communicate programme and progress both with internal stakeholders and the client.
Communicate regularly with the engineering design and manufacturing teams to ensure projects are progressing as expected.
Ensure the project is delivered while adhering to time, budget and quality.
For assigned projects, ensure all engineering design, manufacturing and installation teams are clear on the scope and programme of works and its technical content.

What skills and experience do you need?
At least 2 years' experience as a Project Manager within a medium to large organisation.
Good planning, organisational and time management skills.
ONC/HNC/Degree in electrical, measurement or control engineering or related discipline.
Project Management skills, APM or Prince 2 practitioner preferred.
SSSTS/SMSTS and CDM principal contractor qualifications and/or experience preferred.
Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project.
Experience of electrical installations and control systems including, but not limited to, control panels/MCCs, PLC, SCADA, instrumentation is preferred.
