Job Description

A Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator is an essential role to the smooth running of DO & CO. You will be supporting and working closely with managers to ensure that day to day tasks are completed and that the high standards of DO & CO are portrayed to our partners. You will engage with the DO & CO Family to ensure all departments are well informed and reports are communicated efficiently and in a timely manner. As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will have a passion for numbers and expose yourself to all situations in order to improve your experience and grow within the Finance department. You will have experience in, and the drive to, implement significant process improvement through the use of existing and new technology.

What will you be doing?

  • Processing invoices, resolving missed payments, updating financial records, and effectively supervising staff engaged in similar activities.
  • Collaborate with account managers to establish new customer accounts and customize invoicing according to their specific requirements.
  • Maintaining the billing system
  • Generating invoices and account statements
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis, including working closely with Financial Accounting and Controlling
  • Carry out and support with validation of information provided by the operations team before invoicing
  • Maintaining, with accuracy, all the data input in the client billing systems
  • Investigate queries raised by internal and external customers
  • Timely and professional reply to internal and external customer requests
  • Maintaining good working relationships with all DO & CO Family members as well as our partners and other stakeholders
  • Taking responsibility for all your actions, support your team, and celebrate successes as a family

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience working in an accounting, billing, or accounts receivable department
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or business management
  • Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy
  • Familiarity with financial, accounting, and bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, 
  • Analytical skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong financial skills and understanding of financial concepts and business principles
  • Time and process management, including the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines, set priorities, and work under pressure
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Passion for high-end cuisine, love for food and motivation to deliver exceptional service
  • Well presented, professional individual with a can-do, positive attitude that indulges in team success
  • Meticulous attention to detail and precise record keeping skills
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, mentoring and motivating, creating a team spirit, encouraging them to be at their best
  • You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong written and verbal English, and will use a variety of methods to keep the DO & CO Family well informed
  • Highly proficient in excel with excellent working knowledge of accounting software packages and the ability to handle and integrate complex data sources, both manual and electronic
