The Supplier Quality Assurance Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will manage the Supplier Quality team supporting quality assurance activities and related processes in alignment with corporate requirements. In this role, you will define quality improvement programs and set priorities for suppliers in alignment with Operation management BU objectives. You will establish and maintain quality requirements for components and sub-assemblies in alignment with Beckman Coulter Quality Management System

This position is located in Baierbrunn, München and will be hybrid.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provides leadership to the Supplier Quality Team.
  • Is accountable for the performance and results of the Supplier Quality team and develops plans for his Team to support business unit strategy.
  • Ensures components and sub-assemblies compliance with requirements
  • Ensures supplier activities compliance with Danaher process.
  • Maximizes team capabilities by developing technical skills and behaviors in alignment with Danaher values. Champions problem solving and drives process improvement through the Quality Management System and Danaher Business System.
  • Interacts and collaborates with global counterparts and Global Process Owners.


In addition to the responsibilities above the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager contributes the following activities:

  • Supplier Improvement
  • Process validation at Supplier
  • Non-conformance Management
  • Post market surveillance in the scope of supplier management


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master´s degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering field with numerous years of relevant experience required.
  • Medical Device or Automotive industry background preferred.
  • Quality Assurance experience for different technologies
  • Demonstrated team management experience and excellent organizational and managerial skills;
  • Audit experience based on ISO 13845 and/or ISO 9001
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with key stakeholders;
  • Fluent German and English is mandatory.

Travel: 15% once every other month (mainly short trips for audits within Europe)
