Graduate Teaching Assistant - Liverpool (L15)

Milk Education are currently working with schools throughout Liverpool who are looking to appoint Graduate Teaching Assistants on a full time basis. You will be working with students that require both academic and pastoral support to ensure they are reaching their expected levels of progress.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will have the opportunity to work with students on a 1:1 basis providing tailored intervention sessions as well as supporting full class teachers in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to cover lessons gaining invaluable experience prior to starting a PGCE or schools direct teacher training programme.

Key criteria:

• Must have a university degree 2:2 or above
• Previous experience of working with young people would be beneficial but not essential
• Clear desire to work with young people and become a teacher in the future
• Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
• Willingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk and your placement school
