The Role:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented Property Claims Handler to join our Clients successful Home Claims team. Committed to a flexible first policy, we support a blend of office and home working, tailored to your individual work pattern and agreed upon with your line manager.

Our loss adjusters leverage their expertise on domestic claims up to £100k, including complex and high-value claims. As an Adjusting Executive, you will collaborate with your assigned adjuster to ensure claims are resolved promptly and fairly, resulting in highly satisfied customers.

You will maintain a positive relationship with customers and their representatives, safeguarding the reputations of both our Client and our Clients Insurers.

### Responsibilities:

- **Technical Assistance**: Support the adjuster throughout the claim handling process, working one-on-one to deliver top-tier customer service and technical claims handling.

- **Customer Service**: Confidently provide excellent customer service, ensuring claims are straightforward and stress-free for our clients.

- **Communication**: Exhibit first-class communication skills, both written and verbal, and proactively engage with customers via phone as needed.

- **Vulnerability Awareness**: Identify potential vulnerabilities in customers and adjust communications and claim handling to ensure equitable outcomes.

- **IT Proficiency**: Maintain high-standard electronic files and prepare claim documentation as required, in coordination with adjusters.

- **Collaboration**: Build effective working relationships with colleagues across various internal departments and product lines.

- **Correspondence Management**: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, completing case enquiries as directed by the adjuster, while also working independently when appropriate.

- **Stakeholder Updates**: Keep all stakeholders and parties fully informed, demonstrating a proactive approach.

- **On-Site Assistance**: Occasionally assist on-site with tasks such as minute-taking, action plan preparation, and taking statements/photographs.

- **Time Recording**: Accurately record daily time, ensuring a high proportion of chargeable hours and demonstrating technical competence.

### Skills and Qualifications:

- Cert CILA/Cert CII or a commitment to attaining this certification within the first year.

- Competent IT skills with the ability to maintain electronic files to an auditable standard.

- A proactive mindset and the ability to manage tasks independently when necessary.

- Willingness to build relationships and liaise effectively with colleagues in other departments.
