Job descriptionIndustrial – Waste Plant cleanerTo control the quality of incoming loads, making sure they tip in a safe manner in the relevant bays and report any issues relating to contamination.To remove as many unwanted materials as possible from the raw stock prior to its introduction to the Plant and make sure the yard is kept clean and tidy.

• Be responsible for controlling the movement of lorries within the yard maintaining a safe area at all times.
• Ensure all relevant SOP’s and SWP’s are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure the quality of raw stock piles are kept at optimum levels.
• Ensure that the quality of the processed material is maintained from its storage in the bay until being loaded and leaving site.
• Ensure the yard and weighbridge areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Deal with weighbridge issues & queries as and when required.
• Be responsible for inspecting all incoming loads prior to, during and after tipping.
• Report any issues with incoming loads to the relevant personnel and complete any required paperwork.
• Report any other issues that may come to your attention in the yard area such as H&S, quality, engineering and damages etc, completing any T Cards or other paperwork that may be required.
• Monitor all site waste skips on an ongoing basis and report any issues or exchanges required.
• Remove colour, ceramics, metals, pyro-ceramics, paper, plastics and any other contaminants from raw stock deliveries.

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pmIndustrial Waste cleaner is working with Industrial waste equipment, please be advised this is not a domestic cleaning role.Experienced candidates that have a background within Industrial Waste cleaning is essential for this role.PLEASE ensure that you have your own PPE – Steel toe cap boots, hard hat, gloves, high Vis.
