This MEP Project Directors role is with one of the UK's leading main contractors. They have an excellent reputation and build some of the country's most iconic buildings. They are a diverse organisation covering most sectors of the built environment and this specific role is within their refurbishment division.
Projects are varied ranging from £5m - £100m in the commercial, retail, and public sector.
The Role
We are looking for an MEP Project Director with experience of critical resilience projects to a data centre refurbihsment in the Yorkshire area.
Your role will include:
* Overall responsibility for the success the project.
* Allocate resources and staff ensuring projects have appropriate.
* Identify the quality expectations and ensure these are achieved.
* Understands the contractual requirements of the project.
* Proactively manage the customer relationship during pre-construction, delivery and post construction, including change management, risk management and decision making to effectively manage expectations.
* Ensure external consultants (e.g., Design) are managed to enable delivery - driving value, customer focus and achievement of the project's objectives.
* Participate in and sign off supply chain selection process, ensuring that an appropriate balance is made between commercial focus, quality orientation, delivery capability and safety record.
* Ensure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery and regularly report on project progress, risks and issues.
* Attend and lead contract reviews for projects you are accountable for, ensuring accurate records are kept and actions are timely monitored and completed.
