Due to internal progression an exciting opportunity has arisen to bring in a Management Accountant who will be working closely alongside the Financial Controller.

If you are educated to degree level (2:1) or studying towards your CIMA, ACA or ACCA and want to work within Manufacturing where there is opportunity for progression then this is a fantastic role for you.

Key Skills:

- Educated to 2:1 degree level or equivalent
- Studying towards a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
- Strong communication skills at all seniority levels
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
- Confident using IT software, especially Excel
- Confident in creating and developing spreadsheets
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience working within Accounts

Duties:

- Preparing specifics of monthly management accounts including group reporting
- Ability to analyse accounts and report on the results / forecasts back to the business
- Understand the costing systems and annual review of product standards
- Involved with business reporting structure and analyse gross margins
- Flash forecasting
- Ability to identify when improvements can be made
- Preparing and analysing annual budgets / reforecasts
- Supporting with the preparation of capex proposals ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Assisting with cashflow preparation and foreign currency hedging
- Responsible for updating master files
- Providing assistance within the Finance department
