About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis, due to the retirement of a staff member. This role, which offers a salary of £100 - £120 per day and an ASAP start, involves supporting students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in various subjects and activities. With manageable class sizes, you will have the opportunity to work closely with both teachers and students to enhance the learning experience. Application Requirements:
• Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as an HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
• Knowledge: Understanding of the primary curriculum, SEN support strategies, and classroom management techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting Teaching: Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, providing additional support to students as needed.
• Classroom Management: Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Student Support: Work with individuals and small groups to support their learning and development.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as marking, record keeping, and preparing resources.
