We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations.

Duties

• Drive a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as needed for traffic or road conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence with appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to operate flatbed vehicles effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service
