About the Role

We are looking for a committed and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers, leading small group sessions, and delivering pre-planned lessons.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.

Lead small group interventions and provide one-to-one support to students.

Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher.

Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to meet the needs of all students.

Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.

Help manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements

HLTA qualification or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with the ability to take on HLTA responsibilities.

A passion for education and helping young people succeed.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience working with secondary school students.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
