Are you a proactive and skilled Fabric Manager looking for an opportunity to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of a globally recognised London estate? We are working with a leading property brand to recruit a Fabric Manager who will play a key role in delivering best-in-class fabric services across a prestigious mixed-use development.

About the role:

Our client are aiming for this site to be a global exemplar of progressive city life, whilst aiming to deliver a first class FM service . As Fabric Manager, you will ensure that the highest standards of service and presentation are maintained across the estate, contributing to a world-class experience for occupiers, visitors, and stakeholders alike.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Fabric Manager in overseeing all fabric-related aspects of the estate.

  • Manage and coordinate reactive works, Pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM), and fabric projects.

  • Oversee service partner performance, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and within budget.

  • Conduct inspections with the estate team, arranging necessary repairs and maintenance.

  • Review permit requests and associated Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, safeguarding occupiers, visitors, and staff.

  • Contribute to the production and management of the estate's annual fabric maintenance budget.

  • Engage with occupiers and stakeholders, attending meetings and documenting actions.

  • Work closely with sustainability and ESG teams to enhance the estate's environmental performance.

  • Support estate events and community programmes, fostering engagement and inclusivity.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong knowledge of fabric-related trades such as stonemasonry, decoration, carpentry, metalwork, glazing, and street furniture maintenance.

  • Experience in contractor and project management.

  • Familiarity with work permit procedures and health & safety requirements (IOSH qualification desirable).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • A professional, proactive, and solutions-driven approach to estate management.

  • Strong administrative, budgeting, and team management capabilities.
