Finance Analyst

Croydon - Hybrid - 3 days In

Salary - £45,000 - £53,000

We are currently recruiting for an amazing Finance Analyst role working for a rapidly growing company within the retail and distribution industry. The group consists of several legal entities, predominantly UK based, with one newly established business in the USA.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to grow and kick on in their career. You will have a keen eye for detail and have a strong analytical approach and be strong on excel. If you aspire to be a commercially focused qualified accountant, then this could be a great opportunity to follow that path. This will be a business facing value ad position with exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

Role:

• Fast-paced, high volume, transaction orientated environment.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting operational budgets across the retail estate.
• business partnering across retail operations.
• Analyse retail metrics (sales, margins, expenses) for performance trends.
• Building and automating reports.
• Working with large data sets.
• Continuously drive process and system improvements for all retail reports.
• Significant experience working under pressure meeting strict deadlines.
• Hands on approach, analytical and detail oriented
• Positive can-do attitude enjoys problem-solving and bringing tasks to a conclusion.
• Good communication skills as a high level of collaboration required for this role.

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Advanced Excel knowledge (V Lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
• Accounting Qualification/Started Qualification
• Experience in the Retail sector preferable.
• Experience with Sun Accounting / Q&A preferable.

• Manage key relationships, including internal partners and external Clients.
• Communication - The ability to effectively exchange information with stakeholders.
