Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Refrigeration

12 months FTC 

Salary: £42k

Location: Salisbury 

An internationally recognised Pharmaceutical company based in the beautiful Salisbury are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Refrigeration) to join them on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

The role:

·      You will maintain equipment and utilities by being responsible for executing a wide range of planned preventative maintenance tasks, including both refrigeration and electrical maintenance.  

·      You will perform reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime by troubleshooting and repairing equipment or utility systems after failure.

·      You will support Engineering projects such as the installation of new equipment.

·      You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance system to improve the reliability of equipment.

·      You will work within the confines of the Safe System of Work and permit to work system.

·      You will be sufficiently trained and capable to act as a Competent Person for both LV electrical systems and mechanical & pressure systems under this Safe System of Work.

·      You will complete all relevant mandatory Health and Safety training to able to perform your role.   

·      You will complete all paperwork as required to meet GMP standards.

·      When required, you will supervise contractors to ensure they operate according to their RAMS.

·      You will always undertake work in accordance with the PBL’s policies and procedures, especially those relating to Health and Safety and the GMP Quality Management System
