Are you an enthusiastic Aspiring Primary Teacher looking to gain child-centred experience before applying for a PGCE? Would you like to experience life in a Primary school for a year as a Teaching Assistant ahead of your future career?

If you have a minimum of a 2:1 degree and are fully committed to spending this academic year as an Aspiring Primary Teacher in a Primary School, our exciting, progressive, and rewarding Aspiring Primary Teacher role will be exactly what you are looking for!

Aspiring Primary Teacher Role:

Ideal for Education Graduates, Psychology Graduates, or Graduates from any subject with aspirations to enter education
Work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, assisting students at all stages of their education
Patience, understanding, empathy, and the ability to build positive rapport with Primary-aged pupils are essential
Support pupils with their learning on a whole-class, 1:1, and small-group basis
Use effective strategies and work using your initiative while following school policies and procedures
Aspiring Primary Teacher | About the School:

The successful Aspiring Primary Teacher will secure a role at one of our wonderful Primary Schools in Essex
Work under the guidance of a supportive SENCO and Senior Leadership Team to provide an inclusive education for all pupils
High staff retention rate due to a strong and supportive SLT that values your progression and training
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils requiring extra help in the classroom
Ideal role for an Aspiring Primary Teacher, with ongoing support, references, and training to help you confidently apply for PGCE programmes in the future
Aspiring Primary Teacher Requirements:

Minimum of a 2:1 degree in any subject
Commitment to spending the academic year as an Aspiring Primary Teacher
Passion for education and working with Primary-aged pupils
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
