About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage a short-term hotel fit-out project in Aberdeen. This fast-paced project requires strong leadership and a commitment to high-quality standards to ensure the timely and successful completion of the refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight: Manage all on-site operations, ensuring the project adheres to timelines, budgets, and client specifications.
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration.
Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality in finishes and fit-out details, addressing any issues promptly.
Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and monitor daily schedules, identifying and resolving potential delays or conflicts.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary on-site liaison for the client, project manager, and other stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site challenges to minimize disruptions to project progress.
Site Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, deliveries, and any scope changes.Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a background in hotel fit-out or refurbishment projects.
Strong understanding of construction and fit-out processes, particularly for high-specification interiors.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and tight deadlines.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and on-site compliance practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS card, and First Aid (preferred)
